All-rounder Rennison Mitchell was voted the senior cricketer of the year when the Achievers Youth and Sports Club held its 2015 annual awards ceremony recently at the Fort Wellington Secondary School.
Mitchell was also given awards for being the most improve senior all-rounder and most co-operative member of the club while Rendell Bobb was the most improve bowler.
Leonard Williams took the cricketer of the year, best batsman and bowler prizes for the U15 division while Therese Carmichael grabbed the most improve player accolade.
Chris Ramnarine won the U17 cricketer of the year and best batsman prizes, Shamar Dundas the most improve player and Titus Webster the best bowler trophies.
At the U19 segment, Randy Wade claimed the cricketer of the year and best batsman awards, Gersian Grant the best bowler prize and Adrian Ramnarine the most improve player hardware.
Additionally Krishundat Ramoo (50-over), Carlton Nurse (T20), Raun Johnson who took 17 wickets in the local league and Keon Joseph were all rewarded for their outstanding performances over the year.
Special awards were given to world cup winners Shemaine Campbell, Tremayne Smartt, Keemo Paul, Tevin Imlach and Shimron Hetmyer.
