Protection, Volda Lawrence was at hand to extend well wishes.
Born on May 30, 1912 in Tuschen, Region Three, Mrs. Benjamin lived in Corriverton but now resides in La Penitence, Georgetown. The former businesswoman, who ran a restaurant in the mining town of Linden, remains an avid story teller.
While she has no biological children, she and her husband adopted a daughter, Sandra Thomas. Her husband has since died.
A proud member of the Catholic church, Mrs. Benjamin loves to share her knowledge about cooking and enjoys her extended family, including her great nephew and niece and her care giver.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
