Rugged marked 41 games to win the final of the Turning Point/Mark Wiltshire four-game dominoes tournament which was contested on Tuesday night.
Host Turning Point placed second with 38 games while Phantom finished third on 29. Osmond Braithwaite got 11 and Martin Permaul nine for Rugged who drew the bye, while Colin McEwan and Sandra Denny got nine each for Turning Point.
Jane Chase chalked nine for Phantom.
Turning Point scored 43 games to win the semi final game ahead of Phantom on 41 and Mix Up on 37. Mc Ewan and Loraine Reid made 10 apiece for the winners while Rawle Cameron chalked 11 and Orin Favourite nine for Phantom; Mix Up leading players were Rawle Peters and Kanhai Samaroo with 10 and nine games respectively.
Meanwhile, Strikers SC in collaboration with Mark Wiltshire will be hosting a four-game Independence competition starting at 15:00hrs today at Meadowbrook. Entrance fee is $12,000 and the tournament will be played on a two-in-one-out basis.
