The Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) has once again teamed up with the benevolent
sport agency Trophy Stall, to stage an Under-11, 13 & 17 Age Group and Open Singles tournament, set to commence tomorrow, Wednesday 11th May at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Schedule of play is:
Wednesday 11th: Under-17 & Open Singles (5:00pm-8:00pm)
Saturday 14th: (Under-11 & 13 Singles and all Finals (9:30am-12:30pm)
The GBA was extremely pleased that Trophy Stall Managing Director Ramesh Sunich came on board in supporting the sport again this year. Trophies will be given to the top three finishers in each division.
“The tournament, which will run for one week, already has 40 entries in the different ages and it is expected to be a very competitive and exciting tournament. Players are asked to be on time and dressed in sportswear. All rules will be in effect,” Ramdhani concluded.
