During a simple, small presentation ceremony, Lima Sands Police Youth Group received a set of a volleyball gear, inclusive of net and a ball, which was made to pupils of the Primary School and who are also part of the Lima Sands
Police Youth Group. The group extended gratitude to the police officers of the Anna Regina police station who sent one of their sergeants and Clerk to administer the presentation.
Chairperson of the two month old youth policing group, at Lima Sands, Imran Baksh reported that the Lima Sands policing youth group is two months old and the club’s current interest is centered on been committed to playing volleyball and football.
Nourishing and cementing the minds of the young club members to utilize their time by focusing their energies to be utilized in meaningful recreational projects especially in the Lima Sands area are also part of their endeavours.
Baksh noted too that his team is willing to assist other youths who are willing to avail their time in a meaningful way. The pupils of Lima Sands were thrilled with the small token.
