The Washington D.C Jammers basketball team will continue their tradition of touring Guyana at the end of this
month. The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) has announced dates for the imminent basketball playoffs at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Unlike previous years, it was noted that the D.C Jammers will oppose Guyana’s top four clubs in four scheduled games. In the past, the United States-based composition played against Guyana’s national team in a Goodwill Series.
The D.C Jammers is set to arrive in Guyana on Thursday May 19. Their playing schedule as the GABF has announced is below:
– Saturday, May 21: Ravens vs. D.C Jammers
– Monday, May 23: Pacesetters vs. D.C Jammers
– Friday, May 27: Retrieve Raiders vs. D.C Jammers
– Saturday, May 29: Colts vs. D.C Jammers
According to President of the GABF, Nigel Hinds, each local club will be allowed a maximum of three guest players. D.C Jammers Manager, Clarence Wallerson told Kaieteur Sport that his team is anxiously awaiting the Guyana tour.
