Trophy Stall with two locations in the city, including the popular Bourda Market, has thrown its support behind the horserace meet organised by the Jumbo Jet Auto Sales and Racing stables in collaboration with the Bush Lot United
Turf Club, set for tomorrow.
Wife of Proprietor Ramesh Sunich, Devi, this week presented several trophies to Coordinator of the event, Nazrudeen ‘Jumbo Jet’ Mohammed Jr, as part of their contribution to the event. Trophy Stall is one of the businesses that give yeoman service to sports, supporting at every opportunity. They have supported horseracing including a number of meets organised by the Jumbo Jet organisation.
Mohamed expressed gratitude to the Trophy Stall for their continued support, while the business through Mrs. Sunich pledged to continue that support.
Other major sponsors on board include Beverage Giants Banks DIH Limited and Inshan Bacchus Trucking Service.
Over $4M in cash and other prizes are on offer and a large field of the leading racehorses have entered for what promises to be an exciting event at the Bush Lot United Turf Club, Sea View Park, Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice.
Six races are carded for the day with the feature event being for horses classified D and lower for a winning purse of $800,000 over 1mile. Race time is 12:30pm.
