The four-match goodwill series between the top two Under-17 teams from the East Bank and East Demerara Football Associations is set to conclude tomorrow at the Grove Playfield, East Bank Demerara when the
East Demerara teams pay a return visit.
On Saturday last at the Golden Grove ground, East Coast Demerara, Soesdyke Falcons, East Bank’s second placed team had defeated East Demerara champions Bachelors Adventure/Paradise Sports Club 3-1 while East Bank champions Grove Hi Tech had prevailed over East Demerara’s second placed side, Buxton Stars.
Tomorrow’s match-ups will see Bachelors Adventure/Paradise Sports Club matching skills with Grove Hi Tech in the feature match while Buxton Stars will kick off proceedings at 13:00hrs against Soesdyke Falcons.
This goodwill series of matches have been organised with the primary aim of affording the respective team’s exposure against teams from other associations. Tomorrow’s matches are expected to produce more exciting action as the future stars of Guyana once again exhibit their talent ahead of next month’s GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Under-17 Intra Association Tournament which is expected to be launched today.
