Dear Editor,
I would like you to address this problem in your newspaper. The problem is that there is a broken utility pole in my village .Now this matter was reported to GPL several times and up to now they seem not able to fix it. This pole is located by SAHADEO & SONS GROCERY at Lot 88 Independence Street in La Grange .The problem is after it was reported GPL came and wrap a wire around the pole to another pole and that is it.
If because strong winds this pole falls, a lot of things could happen. The area will be without power, people could get shock, and there could be damage to property, sensitive equipment and lives could be also lost if persons are in the vicinity. Please allow me a space in your paper and disclose this situation so the big ones could at lease see for themselves how dangerous this is. At present the pole is only being held up by the numerous wires attached to it which leads to houses in the area. Forgot to mention that the pole broke off at the bottom and it is resting on the concrete in front of the shop, it is like an ACCIDENT waiting to happen, this situation is there for the past 3 weeks.
