Food for the Poor (Guyana) Incorporated recently donated a quantity of medical
items to the Suddie Hospital, Essequibo.
The items included an examination table, a dental chair, gloves, pillows, linen, adult pampers and other assorted medical and surgical items.
Nurse Emette Tull said that the variety of items would be of great assistance, as the institution has been in dire need of such essentials for a considerable period of time. She assured that they would be utilized to the benefit of the residents of the community. She further stated that the Oscar Joseph Cottage Hospital, located at Charity, would also be a beneficiary.
Food for the Poor (FFTP)’s Senior Manager, Gifts-in-Kind department, Jimeel Davis, said that he was pleased about the resuscitation of the longstanding relationship between FFTP and the hospital. He posited that the donation would enhance the services at the hospital.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
