The action was electric last Thursday night at the Aracari Resort when the GT Beer 4-A-side Football Tournament kicked off.
Some fourteen teams engaged in fiery battle in the first round under floodlights, providing quite an entertaining spectacle for patrons at the venue. It the end it was seven teams that served up enough fire to move to the next round billed for April 21, 2016. Those moving forward are Team Agricola, Parfait Harmony B, Sparta Boss, Future Crane, Comfort Ballers, King Street Ballers, and Show Stoppers.
Battling for supremacy on the first night were Sparta Boss, Parfait Harmony A, Water Street, Reggae Boyz, DC Warriors, Fix Time United, Agricola and Boom Bang.
Also in competition were Team Admiral, Parfait Harmony B, Traders, Jetty ‘A’, Team Showstoppers, Bagotsville, Brothers United, Jetty ‘B’, Comfort Ballers, Patentia Street Ballers, Stewartville Gunners, Team Speedboat, Samaroo Dam and Vergenoegen.
The sponsors making this venture possible are GT Beer, Twisterz Digital Audio entity, Tina’s Variety Supermarket, and the Aracari Resort.
