Albion scored an upset in latest play of the Wolf’s Memorial Softball cricket Tournament last Sunday April 10.
In results from the games played: Albion Masters def: Floodlights by 6 runs. Albion 218-4 off 20 overs. V. Moonsammy made 105 N.O., John Somar 66; Ricky Deonarain took 3-6. Floodlights in reply fell short at 212-2 in their 20 overs. Wayne Jones 46 N.O., Yunis Ysuf 41, Imtiaz Mohamed 34 and Richard Persaud 20 N.O. put up a valiant fight. V. Moonsammy took the wickets to fall, ending with 2-18.
Untouchables def: Princess Hotel by 9 wkts. Princess 115 All Out. Andy 26; Roshan Ali 3-18, Q. Yusuf 3-20, M. Alexander 2-20. Untouchables replied with 116-1. Raul Reid 80 N.O. and M. Alexander 26.
Tropical Springs Def: Albion Masters by 14 runs. Tropical Springs 143 All Out. Leon Sankar 32, Benedict Felix 29 N.O., Lalta Gainda 23; V. Da Silva 3-7, A. Khadero 2-13 and S. Mohabir 2-22 for Albion who replied with129 All Out. R. Mangru 34 and Lall Beharry 28 were the main scorers. K. Ramnauth took 4-11 & Rahaman Khan 3-9.
