Dear Editor,
To echo the writer that “Denying the poor while enriching the rich is wrong and ugly,” I would add it is also very disgusting to know what went on during the previous administration under the Mafioso rule of Jagdeo. If we don’t stamp it out soon we are all guilty and can’t blame others. Its time voters vote with their conscience and let us move forward. In the whole Caribbean we are the only one left behind because we are still being racial and don’t want to face the facts. Let’s call a spade a spade Guyanese.
An almost similar thing was happening to Canada when Quebec was threatening separation. Now that’s been put to bed, Canada has moved on and it one of the best countries in the world to live in. I am not saying that; it was the opinion of UN survey. Not long ago when I was in England it took us 5 hrs to get home to my sister’s home in Wembley, because the IRA planted bombs and we had to detour. The wrath of the British and The IRA is no longer a threat and life is back to normalcy. Its time Guyanese move on, we have such a beautiful country and we can’t let politics and racialism destroy it.
GOD BLESS GUYANA AND GUYANESE EVERYWHERE
Norman Tewarie
