Royal Youths have maintained their stranglehold and unbeaten run in the Corona Beer
sponsored Guyana Beach Football Association, Beach Soccer League when they registered their 11th win in twelve matches on Sunday last at the Bayrock Beach Soccer Park, Bayrock, Linden.
Royal Youths did not need to break a sweat for their 13th round match as their opponent, Attention Family did not keep the date as the winner moved to 33 points from 12 matches inclusive of one draw and no loss.
Cool Runnings squeezed past Hi Stars 4-3 on account of a brace of goals each from Rodwyn Fraser and Andell Mendonza. Netting for Hi Stars were Michael Spencer who scored twice and Michael Peters with the other.
The evening’s final match saw Silver Bullets zooming past Kuru Kururu Warriors 6-2. On target for the bullets were Gishawn Freeman who blasted the nets on three occasions while supporting were Romell Matthews, Robin Adams and Dennis Claude.
Warriors got their goals from the consistent Cordell Johnson and Ryan Scott. Penultimate round action is set for Saturday at eth same venue kicking off at 18:30hrs.
