The sporting fraternity was plunged into mourning on Tuesday last following the death of former national netballer, teacher and Petra Organisation member Angeline Dyer-McCarty, who passed away, at the
Woodlands Hospital.
Dyer-McCarty was rushed to the medical institution last Sunday after complaining of feeling unwell and was subsequently ordered to be hospitalised for surgery, before she finally succumbed.
She was laid to rest yesterday. A number of persons whose life she had touched including family, friends, members of the sport fraternity, media and school where she taught gathered to bid her farewell.
