Bajan authorities have arrested a Guyanese man and seized a boat during an anti-narcotics operation Wednesday morning, according to the Barbados Nation.
According to a report in the online news, large quantities of cocaine and cannabis were seized at Carlisle Bay (Browne’s Beach), St Michael by the Drug Squad.
Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police and public relations officer, David Welch, said cocaine weighing 122.9 kilogrammes and valued in the region of $6 million and cannabis weighing 9 4 kilogrammes, valued in the region of $375,000 were seized along with a boat.
He said two males, a Barbadian and a Guyanese, were assisting police with the matter.
