Bishop’s High, Christ Church and Richard Ishmael were among the winners when play
in the preliminary phase of the Annual Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition continued yesterday, at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Appearing in the final game of the day against Central High, Bishop’s High School was led to victory through solitary strikes off the boots of Lloyd Anderson, Shamar Britton and Romeo Bradford.
Also recording an impressive victory was Christ Church, who inflicted a 4-0 drubbing on Carmel, while Richard Ishmael gained full points from Sir Leon Lessons that had opted out of the competition.
In the other match of the day, School of Nations and South Ruimveldt played to a 1-1 draw.
Action in the competition continues today, at the same venue with the final round of preliminary matches.
