Streets, Campbellville has maintained their partnership with the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) which is now being led by Ed Caesar who has taken over from Peter Green.
In a press release, the federation informed that Fitness Express is one of the main sponsors of the Clash of Novice which is set for the Rosignol Primary School on Sunday lifting off at 11:00hrs.
Male and female athletes from the Ancient County and the City are expected to exhibit their strength with the aim of outmuscling each other.
Manager/Owner of Fitness Express Jamie McDonald expressed gratitude at being able to continue sponsorship of this important event in the powerlifting calendar. He noted that his company has been supportive of the sport which has continuously done Guyana proud over the years.
Mc Donald pledged Fitness Express’ continued support for the sport. GAPF PRO Roger Callender who accepted the cheque expressed thanks to McDonald for his entity’s continued commitment to powerlifting. Weigh-in time on Sunday is 09:00hrs while admission is $200.00.
