Finals in three categories set to play under lights
The East Coast Mash 10/10 Challenge cup organized by the Guyana Softball League and sponsored by Extra Beer is fixed for tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd February, at Better Hope ground.
Three categories will be played in the 10/10 format in Maters; Females and Open as teams battle for supremacy and prizes. The lineup of events also include the popular ‘one ball manto’ which has seen an increase in spectators joining to feel what it is like in the middle coming up against opponents. The prizes for this event range from touch screen cell phones to cash.
In addition to the games, entertainment will see De Hunter there to woo fans with his “Bring the rum” song which has always captivated the fans and others that will be sung on the same night. Pooran Seeraj and others will also be there to ensure the fans have maximum entertainment as the night goes on.
Meanwhile, the one ball manto will also see Granny Ivelaw and the clown taking to the field and demonstrating what it is like in this game.
Other performances will see Shorty also entertaining fans. There will be kid games, Ring games, trampoline and other games to ensure spectators are fully occupied. The music will be in the hands of the Dee Jay of Slingerz and71 Sound Systems with both sets being in attendance.
There will lots of food and also lots to drink as the day goes on.
The action starts at 9am to 2 am the next morning filled with entertainment.
