Dear Editor,
I would like to know as to why Wakenaam island is not getting any pipe water for the past couple months; maybe one hour every three days the island will get water.
People depend on the water to cook and wash and bath and much more as rain has not been falling. It is very sad. I see people drinking the river water which is polluted.
Pregnant women carrying water in buckets from the river to their homes. Please help these people. We need help. You know water is life. They can’t use the trench water because of the chemical the rice fields are sprayed with. HELP THEM PLEASE!
