As the GCB/Banks DIH/Digicel National Secondary Schools League continues, players with outstanding
performances and those who demonstrated good promise have been earmarked by the selection committee of the league for training. The Combine Elite Stage of the competition sees the top players from different schools within a zone combining to form a zone team which is used to represent their respective zones in the inter-zone/inter-district stage of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) National Secondary School Cricket League (NSSCL) sponsored by Banks DIH Ltd’s Coco Cola and Rainforest Water along with Digicel.
A twenty (20) man East Coast Demerara-Mahaicony team has been identified by the selection committee of the league to participate in a training session on Monday 22 February, 2016 at Enterprise ground from 14:00 hours.
The East Coast Demerara-Mahaicony Combine team will play a Georgetown Combine team on the February 24 at Everest ground from 9:00 hours.
The players called for training with a view of selection are: Robin Williams, Damuka Ngqindo, Pradesh Balkishun, Tameshwar Motiram, Reaz Mohamed, Daniel Mootoo, Ayube Sammy, Chandra Mohan, Rajendra Singh, Wendell Fordyce, Gopaul Applesammy, Amar Persaud, Bhaskar, Yadram and Javelle Fraser.
