In an effort to get the Women Division of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU)
fully active once more, the Union has outlined several programmes for the females.
As such the union is calling on all interested female rugby players to attend a training session at the National Park on Mondays and Fridays every week from 17:00 hrs (5:00pm).
Laurie Adonis is the appointed female coach.
Guyana female rugby players were once the power house of the Caribbean winning the 2008, 2009, and 2010 North American and Caribbean Rugby Association 7s championships.
The next big activity for the women would be the upcoming International women day activity on March 8th2016.
