Volleyball teams in Berbice are being kept on a busy schedule as the hectic Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) 2016 volleyball season continues.
The teams are busy preparing to take to the court for the one day open Mashramani volleyball tournament slated for Tuesday February 23 at the Skeldon Volleyball court.
A number of teams from throughout Berbice including male, females and youth teams are expected to participate in the competition.
A number of teams from the Orealla/ Siparuta areas are also expected to travel to the coast to be a part of the action.
Among those down to compete are Port Mourant Training Centre, one, two and three, Three Door Strikers, Port Mourant Jaguars, Albion United, No 53 Survival, Tain Humanitarian, Corriverton Jets, and Fyrish.
Among the female teams expected to participate are Black Birds volleyball club, Corriverton females and Berbice High School and Canje Secondary School.
Incentives will be presented to the top teams in the various categories and the outstanding individual players. Serve off time is 09:00 hrs. (Samuel Whyte)
