Navin and Sons Construction has thrown their support behind the West
Berbice Cricket Association for the staging of its Goodwill T20 tournament which is slated for Albion on February 21.
Marshall Karamchand a representative of the company which is located at Enterprise, East Coast Demerara presented a cheque of an undisclosed sum to Abel Seeteram of WBCA on Wednesday. In an invited comment Karamchand of said they are happy to contribute towards the competition and is looking forward to a successful one. Seetaram thanked the entity for their assistance adding that there will also be a cultural presentation and lots of attraction for the children.
West Berbice Titans, Essequibo XI, East Berbice Superkings and Demerara XI are the teams that will battle for supremacy when action gets underway at 09:00 hrs.
The Essequibo XI reads; Anthony Adams (Capt.), Ricardo Adams, Ricardo Peters, Kevon Boodie, Kemol Savory, Kevin Jordon, Neilan Cadogan, Eknauth Persaud, Keemo Paul, Narendra Madholall, Herry Green, Parmesh Parsotam, Edwin Burnette and Royan Fredericks.
