The Surinamese senior team will travel to Guyana for a friendly match against the home team on Sunday, February 21.
The game is a practice match for the two teams who are preparing for various levels of regional competition. In a release from The Board of the Surinamese Football Association, they have stated that a number of players have been called up from the various clubs participating in the Suriname League to prepare for the encounter. The players met with the technical staff on Thursday last.
Those called are: From Robin Hood: Claidel Kohinor, Saverio Adenie Enzo Senkye, Mitchell Kisoor and Roxey Fer.
Leo Victor: Sersinhio Benefit, Albert Nibte and Romano Holtuin .
Transvaal: Delano Stella, Gillermo Faerber , Jerny Faerber and Sorencio Julian .
Nishan 42: Gilberto end.
WBC: Giovanni Alleyne, Guno Kwassie and Stephan Banetti.
Forward: Chagamire Boldewijn and Jual Pengel.
Notch: Miquel Darson , Galgyto Talea and Milton Pinas.
Botopasi: Rocky Kaise, Migamba Antomoi, Evani Esperance and Huub Lugard.
Guyana Golden Jaguars have started preparation under head coach Jamaal Shabazz and assistant Wayne Dover for the Caribbean Football Union Men’s Caribbean Cup, Guyana drawn in Group 5 along with Puerto Rico and Anguilla. Round 1 matches are slated to be played between March 21-29.
