Play in this year’s Annual Milo Undr-20 Schools Football Competition resumes today
and tomorrow at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
In today’s fixtures which will see four matched being played, Carmel Secondary take on Richard Ishmael from 11:00 hrs and this encounter will be followed by the clash between Christ Church and Sir Leon Lessons from 12:30hrs.
The third matchup pit Central High against School of the Nations from 14:00hrs, while in the final encounter of the day, Bishop’s High square-off against South Ruimveldt Secondary.
Another four games are scheduled for tomorrow with St. John’s College tackling inaugural champions St. George’s High from 11:00hrs and this will precede the encounter between Freeburg Secondary and Mae’s Secondary from 12:30hrs.
Queenstown Secondary then battle Tutorial Secondary at 1400hrs, before Charlestown Secondary oppose St. Rose’s High from 15:30hrs.
The winning team will cart off $500,000 and the championship trophy and that will go towards a school project, while the second, third and fourth place finishers take home $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 respectively, also towards a project selected by the school.
