The Long awaited final of the 2015 Tenelec Inc First Division 50-Over cricket tournament has now been fixed
for tomorrow at Albion. Vying for the championship once again will be arch rivals, defending champion Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets and Albion Community Centre.
The Final can certainly be called a “Clash of the Giants” with both boasting national cricketers.
Albion have named a formidable line-up with the all spin bowling attack spearheaded by West Indies spinners Devendra Bishoo and Veerasammy Permaul. Also included are all-rounder Narsingh Deonarine, Gudakesh Motie-Kanhai, Balchand Baldeo and Sharaz Ramcharran.
Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets will be led by Assad Fudadin and Royston Crandon while Delbert Hicks, Rajiv Ivan, Khemraj Mahadeo and Jason Sinclair are also included.
Trophies and cash incentives with the value of over $200,000 will be up for grabs. Ansa McAl bar, ball by ball update and musical entertainment will be provided. The umpires officiating are Imran Moakan and Moses Ramphal with Omadat Samaroo doing the stand-by duties.
The match is scheduled to start at 09.30 hours and admission is $300.
