4th Annual Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition…
The 4th Annual Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition kicks off today with four matches, at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
In the opening fixture at 11:00hrs, East Ruimveldt tackle St. Winifride, while Cummings Lodge and St. Mary’s collide from 12:30hrs.
Those matches will be followed by the clash between Dolphin Secondary and Kingston Secondary at 14:00hrs, while reigning champion Chase Academy will get their campaign started when they face Tucville Secondary from 15:30hrs.
The following day will see four more matches being played at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Chase Academy will lead Group-A which also includes East Ruimveldt Secondary School, St. Winifride Secondary and Tucville Secondary.
Group-B consists of Cummings Lodge Secondary, Dolphin Secondary, Kingston Secondary and St. Mary’s Secondary, while Group-C contains Brickdam Secondary School, Lodge Secondary, North Georgetown Secondary and St Joseph High School.
The teams stacked in Group-D are Houston Secondary, Morgan Learning Center, North Ruimveldt Secondary and Queen’s College.
In Group-E are Carmel Secondary, Christ Church Secondary, Sir Leon Lessons and Richard Ishmael Secondary, while Group-F includes Bishop’s High, Central High, School of the Nations and South Ruimveldt Secondary.
Those placed in Group-G are Queenstown Secondary, St. John’s College, St. George’s Secondary and Tutorial Secondary, while Group-H consists of Charlestown Secondary, Freeburg Secondary, Mae’s Secondary and St Rose’s Secondary.
Thirty-two teams are participating in the competition.
