The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA), which has been receiving high ratings for its success story over the years, is well set to continue the trend. Already the BVA has already successfully organised a number of activities
for the year including competitions, trials and seminars.
The BVA has also laid out an elaborate plan of activities for the year that will include visits to a number of remote areas. Introduction of a new brand of volleyball, beach volleyball, while taking the game to school and female volleyball is also being emphasized by the BVA.
The association programme recently received a significant boost when it received 50 volleyballs and six volleyball nets from President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) Mr. John Flores.
The donation was made to President of the BVA Mr. Levi Nedd at the end of the BVA two days referees seminar /workshop held at the Port Mourant Community Centre. (Samuel Whyte)
