Blairmont Community Centre created a big upset by beating the joint defending champions Albion Community

In the quarter-final which was played and which Blairmont Community Centre won by an innings and 129 runs, Albion Community Centre, sent in to take first strike, lost an early wicket and had reached 18 for 1 after which Berbice Under-15 left arm spinner Nigel Deodat got into the act and picked up three consecutive wickets to see them slide to 21 for 4. After another one fell to offspinner Adim Shewtahal, Deodat snapped up two more without conceding a run and they further slipped to 26 for 7. They were eventually bowled out for a paltry 34 with Nigel Deodat taking 5 wickets for 2 runs and pacer Keon Gangoo 2 for 11 from 8-Overs.
When Blairmont replied, they got a start of 43 from Berbice Under-15 batsman Javed Karim and Saheed Khan.
