Mix Up and Rage recorded victories when the quarterfinals of the Mark Wiltshire
four-game dominoes tournament were contested on Thursday night at Strikers Sports Club, Meadowbrook.
Mix Up notched up 43 games to beat Phantom with 41 and TNT 36. Ganesh Sankar and Gilbert Mendonca made 11 and 10 games respectively for the winners, while Ewie Gordon got 10 for Phantom. Mark Welch scored 11 and Shawn Morgan 10 for TNT.
Rage chalked up 41 games to win their encounter ahead of Rugged 38 and Thunder 35. Lyall Gittens marked 11 and Ron Callendar 10 for Rage, while Gordon Stevens and Rawl Peters scored 11 and 10 in that order for Rugged. Thunder leading players were Kevin Boston who scored 11 and Faye Joseph 10.
The finals were set to be contested last night.
