Police have issued wanted bulletins for four men in connection with the November 21, 2015 heist of a fuel truck at Mabura, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
The bulletins were issued yesterday for Devon Stephen called ‘Water Dog’ or ‘Water Cat’, Jevon Scott, Ronald Rodney, called ‘Agla,’ and Alex Croal, 46.
They are wanted for questioning in relation to robbery under arms, which was committed on Antonio Jardine and his son, Trevor Jardine.
Stephen’s last known address was given as Lot 721, One Mile, Wismar, Linden; Scott’s as Lot 721, One Mile, Wismar, Linden; Ronald Rodney’s as Lot 265, One Mile, Wismar, Linden; and Alex Croal’s as Blue Berry Hill, Wismar, Linden.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Devon Stephen called ‘Water Dog’ or ‘Water Cat’, Jevon Scott, Ronald Rodney and Alex Croal are asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 444-3406, 444-3274, 444-3512, 226-9941, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station.
According to reports, Antonio Jardine, the driver, and his 16-year-old son, were transporting drums of fuel worth approximately $4M in a truck (GSS 1819), when a group of men in a car stopped them and held them at gunpoint.
The victims were reportedly beaten and stripped of their clothing. The bandits then drove off in the direction of 47 Mile (towards Mahdia).
