Kelroy McPherson, a miner was yesterday remanded by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in the
Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on an attempted murder charge.
The 33-year-old who resides at Lot 14 Christianburg, Linden, was not required to plead to the indictable charge which stated, that on December 27 at Christianburg Linden, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Clifton Craig with intent to commit murder.
McPherson, who was not represented by a lawyer, was remanded until January 20.
The matter was transferred to the Linden Magistrates’ Court.
Prosecution facts were not revealed, but Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones told the court that Craig is still hospitalized. He is currently recovering from multiple stab wounds to the head and neck.
