The West Berbice farmer who was found dead on Tuesday at his farm at No. 16 Village, West Coast Berbice,
died from heart failure.
That was the finding of a post mortem examination conducted on the body of Edward Pestano, 61, of Lot 19, No 40 Village West Coast Berbice, by Dr. Vivikananda Brijmohan.
The post mortem showed that, Pestano, who had a history of heart complications, died as a result of heart ailments and not the altercations he had earlier with the employee he had fired.
The employee was caught smoking marijuana.
According to information, Pestano, was the father of four. He was found dead by his 12-year-old grandson.
