Scotiabank and the Bartica International Volunteer, for the 16th year, brought
cheer to the senior citizens of Bartica at the annual Senior citizens party which was held on Thursday at the Lighthouse Assembly Church in Bartica.
The coordinator, Ms. Rita Brouet must be complimented for her dedication over the years. She has been working tirelessly to cater for annual increases in attendance of seniors at the party. At the initial hosting of the party 16 years ago, approximately fifty seniors attended.
Over the years the attendance has grown to over 300. Special thanks must be given to the business community, including Hart Gold Mining, El Dorado Trading and Pure Diamond Gold Trading, and the many other businesses and volunteers who have contributed cash and kind to ensure that the annual senior’s party is a success.
More than 100 food hampers were distributed to the seniors.
No contracts cast in stone, except Norton and Jagdeo own!
