The Woodpecker Products Annual Christmas Singles was played off at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall December 14 & 15, 2015 and the Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) is pleased with the turn-out with the number of participants in the Boys & Girls Under-11, 13 & 15 events.
The youngest player was George Ramlall who blasted his way into the Under-11 finals and the outstanding match of the tournament was Akili Haynes winning again National Player Tyrese Jeffery in the Under-15 Boys Finals.

Under-11 Girls Finals: Gabriella Pertab defeated Emily Choo-A-Fat: 21-3, 21-11
Under-13 Boys Finals: Gianni Carpenter defeated Jadon Oodit: 21-10, 21-2
Under-13 Girls Finals: Siya Persaud defeated Sudarshani Sooknarine: 21-6, 21-4
Under-15 Boys Finals: Akili Haynes defeated Tyrese Jeffrey: 21-18, 21-19
Under-15Girls Finals: Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Priyanka Shivnauth:21-5,21-7

The Presentation of prizes is on Saturday at the Guyana Olympic House at 1:00pm where prizes will be handed out to the winners, runner-ups and the two third placed winners in the different events.
