The newly-minted National Sports Commission (NSC) will meet with national sport associations and federations today as part of a mandate to strengthen the administration and governance of the various sport disciplines and associations in Guyana.
The Commission had invited the national associations and federations via a formal letter to send three representatives to today’s meeting that will be held in the Conference Room of the Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue from 11am.
The three representatives per association should ideally include: President, General Secretary and Treasurer preferably. “The NSC would like to take this opportunity to remind sport associations of today’s very important meeting of associations/federations,” a release said yesterday.
