Due to the staging of the finals of the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association Petema Enterprise /Motor Trend tournament today at the Demerara Cricket Club, the Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc (GSCL Inc) has been forced to re-schedule the Winston Murray Memorial 10/10 tournament.
The GSCL Inc had originally set the eight-team contest for today at Everest Cricket Club, but has re-set the competition for December 6 at the said venue.
The League would like to apologise to the teams for any inconvenience caused.
Meanwhile, the GSCL Inc will stage an over-40 competition on the said day and venue. The tournament is being sponsored by Dass Enterprise of Bartica and only the first four teams that entered will be accepted. The winning team will pocket a trophy and $500,000 and the runner up a trophy and $100,000. For more information interested teams can contact Mahendra Hardyal on 623-2704. Action gets underway at 08:30 hrs.
