The body of an unidentified man was discovered yesterday on the Kingston seawall in the vicinity of the Marriott International Hotel.
The discovery was made around 14: 00 hrs. It was reportedly spotted by passersby,
who informed the police.
The man, of African descent, was clad only in a blue checkered shirt and underwear. His underwear however seemed to be that of a female’s. At the scene, many speculated that the man might have been a vagrant.
No marks of violence were found on the body. Police believed that the body was lying in the water for only a few hours.
Blood could have been seen dripping from the man’s month. His lips were swollen.
The body is at the Lyken Funeral Home.
