A release from the Guyana Badminton Association has informed that they are, ‘overwhelmed that our top player Narayan Ramdhani at only 17 years old is now ranked 102 in the world.’
This achievement was realized during his participation at a number of international tournaments and he was able to get higher rankings due to improvements in his game plan and standing up to the higher world class payers, the release noted.
His last International tournament was the Suriname International November 18-21, 2015 which brought his world ranking points to 102 in the World.
This is the first time a Guyanese player has gained such status in Badminton and the GBA indicated that “we are extremely happy that Badminton is getting to a high standard.”
