Tonight is fight night involving amateur boxers from Georgetown’s Forgotten Youth Foundation and Harpy Eagles boxing gyms as they take on Linden’s Pocket Rocket gym in ten bouts of Under 15 and junior boxers.
The venue is the New Silvercity Basketball court in Wismar Linden and not the New Silvercity Secondary school as was previously published.
Organiser Orlan Rogers said that preparations are going as planned and he expects professional boxer Corbin to be in an exhibition bout with a boxer to be named, while New Amsterdam’s Akeisha will don gloves with Linden’s in Aleah Lamazon in a feature clash.
This week Linden businessman Junior Stephens through his ‘Fresh from the West’ Store on the Mackenzie Markey made a donation towards the promotion to Orlan Rogers as he joined Police Commander of ‘E’ Division Kelvin Brutus in support of the amateur card.
In addition, Dave and Celena’s Furniture World has committed to supporting the promotion and for this Rogers was looking forward to their assistance. Fight time is 7.00pm.
