Another man has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Senasie Lewis, who was gunned down outside the Ghetto Flex night spot in Albouystown, two months ago.
Clive Forde (no age and address given) is accused of murdering Lewis on September 4.
Forde was not required to plead to the indictable charge after it was read to him by City Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
The unrepresented accused was remanded to prison until November 12.
During the brief court hearing, Police Prosecutor, Corporal Kerry Bostwick made a request to have the accused jointly charged with Keiron Taylor, 21, of Charlestown, who was also charged on September 9, with Lewis’s murder.
Taylor is currently on remand.
Unlike his co-accused, Forde posed for his photo to be taken by reporters, who were assembled on the court stairs. He also declared that he was a “mad man”.
According to reports, Lewis of Pineapple Street, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown was riddled with bullets by gunmen outside the night spot located at the corner of Albouys and James Street, Albouystown.
Lewis was reportedly shot nine times about the body by armed men, who had approached him on foot. The men immediately escaped after the execution in a waiting car that was parked on Sussex Street.
Three other persons were injured in the shooting.
