After putting together two strong performances in Jamaica and Barbados, multiple times
Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) Superbike champion Stephen ‘Valentino Rossi’ Vieira is oozing confidence ahead of the final leg of the Series scheduled to be staged in November, at the South Dakota Circuit.
However, it is not only Viera who is brimming with confidence, but his main sponsor too, Continental Agencies Limited under its Sunburst Orange Juice brand.
On Wednesday at the Company’s location in Industrial Site, Marketing and Sales Manager Avalon Jagnandan handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to the Superbike racer to enhance his preparations ahead of the season ending Meet in front of his supporters.
In a release, Continental Agencies said it is pleased to continue its affiliation with Vieira, who is a Brand Ambassador for the Company. The released added that the local speedster has embraced the slogan of Sun Burst which is a branded juice of champions as emphasised by his dominance, during the Caribbean Series.
Continental Agencies has over the years supported sports in Guyana in a wide array of areas including motor racing, badminton, football, table tennis, karate, hockey and golf and is committed towards the growth and development of sports in Guyana.
The Company extended best wishes to Vieira as he aims to continue his dominance in the Region.
After a somewhat disappointing season last year, the local speedster has looked revitalized and betting against him might not be the wisest thing to do.
Vieira, who registered two first places and a second from three starts in Jamaica to commence the Series on a high and that, included a blistering 1.11.665.lap to establish a new record at the recently constructed Jamwest Track in Westmoreland.
Vieira was extremely thankful to Mr. Rakesh Puri and Continental Agencies through its Sunburst brand for the support they’ve offered him over the years.
He added that come November he expects to be 100% ready to defend home turf and title and urged all his supporters to come out and witness what is building up to be an exhilarating day of races.
Is this oil a blessing or a curse?
