The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) General Congress at its June 26 Extraordinary Congress, held at the Marriott Hotel, voted to include two new members under its umbrella; the Guyana Beach Football Association (GBFA) and the Guyana Futsal Association (GFA).
The mandates of the two Associations are outlined in Article 2 of the Statutes of the respective organizations which is to foster and promote the game of Futsal at all levels, providing opportunities for recreation, representative matches and elite competitions, for players, coaches and other members of the sports community.
Through the Normalisation Committee, the GFF is inviting interested individuals who are desirous of serving on the Executive Committee of these Associations.
Those willing to serve must be 18 years or older with prior involvement in organised football and must come with no criminal background.
Submissions must be received on or before Thursday October 01, 2015.
The elections of the Executive Committees will be conducted on October 23, 2015 in accordance with the Statues of the respective Associations.
Copies of the Constitutions can be uplifted from the GFF General Secretariat at lot 17 Dadanawa Street, Campbellville, Georgetown, Guyana or a request can be sent to email: [email protected] to receive a digital copy.
