It mean that dem gun be collecting money till de bridge collapse because de bridge can’t live out 40 years. This, dem boys seh, is beyond eye pass and every other pass.

Lock up all de bridge owners, pay dem de money dem put in and tek over de bridge.
Every cane cutter, school teacher, policeman, nurse, Uncle Glenn and Uncle Adam would then want to put a dollar just to ease de burden pun de poor.
