After a break due the prolonged inclement weather, the BCB 2015 Cricket season is set to resume on Saturday with the Berbice River Bridge Company 50-Over First Division knock-out Competition which will see twelve teams taking part with the games starting at 09:30hrs.
The top players in Berbice will be on show with Devendra Bishoo, Veerasammy Permaul, Jonathan Foo and Kandasammy Surujnarine turning out for Albion, Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets will have Assad Fudadin, Delbert Hicks, Eon Hooper in their line-up, West Berbice will have pacers Keon Joseph and Raun Joseph while the Hetmyer brothers, Shimron and Seon playing for Young Warriors.
Port Mourant will be led by Rajiv Ivan while the fast rising Tucber Park, formerly Bermine, will have a star studded line-up with pacers Niall Smith and Romario Shepherd and in form all rounder brothers Eugene and Jomal LaFleur. The other clubs have good players who if they hold their own can create major upsets.
