CAREBACO INTERNATIONAL UNDER-19 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015… Narayan Ramdhani advance to Quarter-Finals

The CAREBACO (Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation) International Under-19 Championships began on Thursday in Santo Domino, Dominican Republic and in the opening of the Boys Singles Championships, Guyana’s Narayan Ramdhani got into the Quarter-Finals after defeating Kleiner Ventura of DR: 21-9, 21-8 in the first round and Samuel Garcia of DR: 21-4, 21-3 in the second round.
Jonathan Mangra of Guyana lost in a tough three setter in the first round to Ariel Cline of DR: 13-21, 21-17, 21-19.
In the Boys Doubles Narayan Ramdhani & Jonathan Mangra lost to Omar Caraballo & Kleiner Ventura of Dominican Republic: 21-18. 21-18.
Meanwhile, the Guyanese Top Under-15 Players Priyanna Ramdhani and Tyrese Jeffrey departed Guyana for the CAREBACO event in the Dominican Republic. They will play in the Team Tournament and the Individual Championships where they will join Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangru.
