The Management of the Guyana Revenue Authority sees it necessary at this time for Senior Managers who would have accumulated leave over the years to be allowed to proceed on such leave in an effort to guarantee better management.
As such, all Senior Managers of the Authority who have deferred annual leave will begin proceeding on their leave with effect from today.
However, some Senior Managers will have their leave staggered in order to facilitate continuity of the Agency’s operations.
Additionally, contrary to reports circulating as it relates to the Commissioner-General, Mr. Khurshid Sattaur proceeding on annual leave, it should be noted that Mr. Sattaur requested his annual leave and this was subsequently granted.
