The management of the Guyana Amazon Warriors Franchise has put in place a “ticket exchange programme” through which persons who purchased tickets for Wednesday’s rained out game can claim tickets for today’s game between the Amazon Warriors and the St Lucia Zouks.
The decision was taken following the abandonment of the game between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Jamaica Tallawahs, as well as taking into consideration the passionate support of fans for the games in Guyana and the Caribbean.
Ticket holders for Wednesday’s game can obtain tickets for today’s match by presenting their ticket stubs, which will have their names on the stubs, and identification (Passport or National Identification Card) to the Ticket Office only at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara between the hours of 08:00 am and 3:00pm today.
Those who purchased tickets for the Grass Mound and do not have their stubs can obtain Grass Mound tickets for today’s game by presenting their Passport or National Identification Card, also only at the Stadium’s Ticket Office, Providence. The Ticket Office has a record of all those who purchased tickets, and hence will be able to verify this.
Only persons who purchased tickets at the authorized ticketing outlets will be eligible for this exchange programme, and ticket holders must be present in person. Complimentary tickets will not be exchanged.
The management of the Amazon Warriors Franchise is appreciative of the support from all cricket fans during the hosting of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) games in Guyana.
