Park in Berbice.
Taylor, who displayed superb speed and skills unleashed a barrage of shots to penetrate the Canje goalkeeper in the 21st, 42nd, 60th, 66th and 73rd minutes to crown an outstanding day.
He was not the only player in form as Shemron Arrindell booted in a hat-trick in the 24th, 28th and 76th minutes, while Tozi Aaron added a brace in the 16th and 37th minutes and Randy Arrindell completed their tally with a solitary strike in 80th.
The carnage started when Aaron was left unchecked on the near post and tapped in a cross from the left flank.
Five minutes later, Taylor started his rampage as he delivered a thunderbolt from about 30 yards out to beat the flailing attempt by the opposing goalkeeper.
The dust had barely settled when Shemron Arrindell swept in a pinpoint pass first time as the BHS team threatened to open the floodgates.
However, Canje gave a determined effort and thwarted any other scoring opportunities until the break.
On the resumption, it was then that the goal-feast started and BHS poured in eight more goals to send an ominous warning to the other teams in their Region.
Play in the competition resumes today at various venues.
